Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the science of the flow of energy throughout the body. As we generally recognise our energy levels through our physical ability, gentle muscle resistance is used to test the effects of various situations on the body. It uses meridian pathways, neurovascular points and lymphatic points to both check and correct energy flow through the body.
It can be used to identify substances, thoughts, experiences and emotions as well as structural imbalances that are having a negative effect on our functioning. It can also be used to help correct imbalances by identifying positive influences, which makes it a useful biofeedback mechanism.
Many other therapies are off-shoots including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) a form of meridian tapping which helps to clear trauma and emotions still controlling our behaviour patterns and Brain Gym (a component of Educational Kinesiology).
Brain Gym is used to help overcome mental and physical co-ordination problems such as dyslexia and help to improve overall performance. Also, it is used by athletes to improve focus and performance, as well as in business training and overcoming fear of public speaking, etc.
Muscle tone can be improved and toxins released using simple techniques to help restore them to their correct tension and function.
A good way of checking the body's computer and getting a full picture of the present state of health of the individual and what they need to reach their optimum.
