I started my professional practice in 1989 having started studying various therapies and philosophies since 1984. I have continued to qualify in several therapies and update my knowledge ever since.
Having studied and qualified in several therapies after having my children and finding them very successful when used on friends and family I set up in private practice in 1989 when my youngest child started school.
I promoted holistic therapies by becoming the Local Information Point for the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Society, co-running The Natural Medicine Society's Local Group and the Local GCP Group. In 1991 I pioneered holistic therapies at a Drug Abuse Centre and continued to do so for 11 years with very good results. I also did talks for local groups and exhibited at local and national shows. I have represented the Assoc. of Reflexologists and GCP at health shows working on their stands. I have also helped and run courses for Whole Self Inc. at major London venues.
In 1999 I was invited to teach VTCT and ITEC Holistic Therapies in Further Education and gained my Cert. Ed. with the University of Greenwich in 2001. I also hold a C&G Assessors Award. At this time I also was invited to provide courses for many community and interest groups.
I have been a National Speaker for the Federation of Holistic Therapists since 2006 and represented them at beauty shows in London and Donnington. I also have provided workshops and seminars for their members and interested parties.
I continue to develop my practice attending courses and talks on related subjects as continuing training as part of the requirements of my professional bodies.
My passion is to develop my practice and help as many people as possible reach their optimum goals whether through therapies or transformation work.
