Stress is motivational, Distress is the
problem. As soon as we go into distress we activate our sympathetic nervous
system and glucose and cholesterol is rushed to the blood system for energy as
well as our breathing, heart rate increasing and many other reactions to help
us fight or fly. Our digestive, immune and reproductive systems become less
active as well. It is easy to see why our totally inhumane and unnatural
lifestyles we hold on to like comfort blankets are going to cause problems. Diabetes,
strokes and heart problems abound and yet beneath the physical symptoms are
beliefs that we are helpless, hopeless and powerless to change things in our
lives.
very time you read a paper or watch
the news it is full of fear mongering, computer games are all about destruction
and tv panders a lot to the worst of human behaviour as a norm, now wonder all
these toxic inputs create a sense of inner dis-ease and finally disease. We
spend hours relating through computers and phones with people we do not even
know.
We do not honour or respect human life
as sacred, but often put material gain and chemical comfort above the needs of
those who depend on us and suffer the same. Until we create environments where
common sense and self-esteem can flourish we are constantly compounding
diminishing beliefs and behaviours instead of empowering ourselves. The only
addiction is to pain and how we chose to create it in our life is down to
preverbal feelings and beliefs we have inherited before we are born.
Until we view each new life as
something sacred and stop abuse from fear in the form of thoughts, feelings and
reactive behaviour we will not teach the next generation that the world is a
safe place and that consideration and kindness are the currency that creates a
happy and caring community and world.
For too long we have all been spoon fed
crazy ideas, which are now unsustainable and falling apart. We cannot feel safe
in an economy that is based on selling weapons to regimes that are warring with
their people and neighbours, nor can we expect to keep a tax system going that
relies on employment when most jobs have become obsolete and there are more
people to pay out to than are earning. We have poor countries festering with
poverty while they supply us with food and starve. Food is a denatured and
nutritional desert in most cases and even water is contaminated with hundreds
of chemicals and this before we look at the number of people subscribing to be
drugged and filled with toxins to hold them in a diseased state under a
"health" service.
Unless we all wake up nothing is going
to change and will only get worse, the change begins with each one of us. Are
we ready for a brave new world where we take responsiblity for ourselves and
stop letting others take responsibility and control of our lives. We all have
so much to offer each other, so maybe it is time to start sharing and caring
instead of looking for someone else to do it and believing we are doing well
with a house full of stuff we don't need but are paying dearly for.
Relationships start with ourselves, if
we do not love and treat ourselves with respect and dignity we cannot expect
anyone else to. We attract those who mirror ourselves, so if we are in the
midst of an uncomfortable place maybe we need to look within where the answers
are.
If you are looking to live from your heart and discover what is getting in the way of you having the relationships, life and career you really desire, why not come along and learn how to make those changes.
